I’m Edoardo, Italian freelance translator and content writer.

I grew up in a wonderful region of the South of Italy, Sardinia, well known for its unique landscapes, but I have always travelled a lot for study and business, especially in France and Spain.

My modus operandi for communicating with clients is

My approach for communicating with my clients is to establish a fluid and horizontal communication that puts at the center the customer needs.

When clients request literal translations, this is how I handle the situation

My main goal in my work is that my customer can reach the Italian market with a high-quality standard and with a text that does not seem to be translated at all.
For that reason when a client asks me to translate literally sentences or idioms, I try to convince him that it does not work in Italian by doing him some opposite examples translating literally idioms from Italian and asking him if he does understand. It is a method that really works to change the point of view, try it to believe!
