I worked on a highly technical RPG called “Eclipse Phas”, which draws on concepts from fields like astronomy, artificial intelligence, and bioethics, while also exploring complex philosophical issues such as animal cognition and human consciousness. Additionally, it included diverse fictional texts written from varied perspectives. The original translator lacked the specialized knowledge needed and abandoned the project before completing the second book. I stepped in, revised their work, and went on to translate several more books in the series. My efforts revived the project and garnered critical acclaim from clients and my editor. The most rewarding aspect, however, was the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the scientific and philosophical ideas I was translating, turning a professional challenge into a personal growth experience.
