About Me

I hold a postgraduate degree in Translation of English and Spanish.
For 9 years I’ve been working as a translator, including for a book company called Lufada de Letras. That was when I translated five books from English to Portuguese.
More recently, I worked for a translation company called ELFP - Escola de Línguas e Formação Profissional. I translated several documents from English and Spanish to Portuguese. Most files were technical documents about the automotive sector.
Finally, I took two Advanced French courses and two Basic Russian Courses, which allowed me to expand my knowledge of languages and will hopefully get me more work.

This is how I would describe my work style

I try to make my translated texts sound as if they were originally written in the target language.
I have a very keen eye for detail and am always checking my translated texts for any typos, formatting, and coherence.

These are the pressures I enjoy and do not enjoy in my work

Having too short a deadline for a long translation job
A rude client
