About Me

I’m Chris, a qualified French and German to English translation specialist. My mission: to help you stand out in a sea of competitors.

Since 2017, I have helped many companies and researchers throughout France and the DACH region communicate with English-speaking audiences through accurate and engaging content. I have also served as a project manager, overseeing localisation projects.

Winning over the English-speaking world isn’t easy, but with carefully crafted words written with the target audience in mind, it certainly is possible. I offer creative translations of marketing materials and tourism texts and I also translate scientific articles or edit them if they are written in English by non-native speakers.

A glossary provides the preferred translations for key terms, and a style guide covers linguistic and stylistic preferences like the tone of voice, target audience, punctuation, etc.

Clients and translators can work together to create these resources.

Another key point to consider is how you manage your translation memories.

A translation memory (TM) stores sentences, paragraphs or segments of text that have been translated before.

If managed correctly, they can improve the speed, consistency and efficiency of every project.
