My name is Christian Daniel Chaves, and I would be honoured to work with my potential clients on future projects. I’ve been working as a translator for 6 years and have completed a large number of projects during that time, ranging from legal documents, literary works and medical articles from French, Portuguese, and Spanish into English and vice versa. My areas of specialization are Medicine (general), nutrition, law, contracts, economics, commerce (general), finance and accounting, technology (Machine learning, data science, ethical hacking, A.I - artificial intelligence- and networking). Advertising, public relations, marketing, government and politics, literature, genetics, poetry, literature, tourism, sports and recreation, copyright, and journalism. Proofreading, audiovisual translation (subtitling).
With regard to my professional profile and objectives, I am a professional committed to my work, eager for new challenges and I consider every task I take on as an opportunity for personal growth. Furthermore, I am able to carry out translations and projects in different areas, working quickly and under pressure, but without losing the quality and style that distinguish me.
With regard to my availability, I am available to start on your project immediately, and I can deliver high quality, finished files within 24 hours.
Finally, I consider that I could be a good choice to translate my potential clients’ projects because, besides my translation studies, I have specialized in other areas such as international law, and technology (especially Python programming, video games and computer security). I am also fascinated by the field of education, which is why I am studying to be an English teacher.
This is how I continue my learning in my area of expertise
In addition to being a freelance translator and lawyer, I’ve decided to pursue a Masters degree in technological education because I consider that technology is not the future, but the present. Furthermore, I strongly believe that my potential clients deserve to work with a professional with solid foundations in a plethora of areas within translation, such as A.I, medical & government terminology.
I had the pleasure to work with Christian D. Chaves in a translation project in 2017. Undoubtedly, he’s such an outstanding translator and lawyer whose compromise to his jobs has no parallel. In fact, each job taken by him is perceived as a challenge and an instance of self-improvement. I totally recommend him for the position of either English- Spanish, Spanish-English &/ or French- English translator.
