About Me

I have been in sciences all my life. I am a geochemist (geologist doing chemistry) with an MSc degree, loving what I do and publishing in international scientific journals. I have been in my current position for almost 15 years and run an analytical laboratory at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. I am French and have been living in Cape Town for more than 18 years and besides geology, the English language is my other passion. So for me, translating into English (and not into my mother tongue) was an obvious choice. I now offer translation, proofreading and editing services from French into English, with a specialisation in sciences. My training through Edvenn (General Translation training) was an amazing opportunity for me to finally link my two passions: English and Science.

My modus operandi for communicating with clients is

Great communication with the client is a priority, whether it is before the project starts, during the project (regular updates) or once the project is completed. This fosters trust between me and my client.
