About Me

I am a CIOL certified translator with 5 years of experience working independently full-time and a proven track record of successful collaborations with translation agencies. Some of my clients include ASOS, Booking.com, Courrier International and Kodak, to name a few :).
I have also translated 10+ fiction and non-fiction books, and am a true bookworm myself.

I specialise in legal translation, marketing, fashion and e-learning. I am very good at translating marketing content to promote online courses and launches.
I am used to handling large projects with efficiency and professionalism.
I hold a BA in Translation from the Higher Institute for Translators and Interpreters in Brussels as well as a MA in Literary Translation from the Sorbonne Université in Paris.

This is how I manage terminology consistency in my area of expertise

I have my trusted dictionaries and glossaries always by my side!

I refuse to work with clients who

do not understand that languages are different and who message me back expecting me to explain every word I used that isn’t a literal translation. A good translation is very rarely literal, unless we’re dealing with a legal document :)

This is how I continue my learning in my area of expertise

I am a learner first and foremost, and my curiosity knows no bound. I hold certificates in all my areas of expertise and have a true passion for them.

My modus operandi for communicating with clients is

being available, replying asap, and following the guidelines to a T. Also, obviously ALWAYS deliver on time (most often well before the agreed upon deadline :))
