I specialize in audiovisual translation
My career in translation began in 2003 when I took part in an internship program for volunteer subtitlers at a film festival in Buenos Aires. A few months later, I was offered my first job as a freelance subtitler.
I earned my degree in Literary, Scientific and Technical Translation of English the following year, and gaining more experience in the audiovisual translation industry, it quickly became my niche.
Services I provide
I started out by providing subtitling and voice-over translation, and over the years, I have been adding more services to my portfolio by adapting to my clients’ needs and ever-expanding requirements.
-Spanish audio transcription
-Dubbing scripts adaptation
-SDH creation and adaptation
Content I translate
-Film and series
-YouTube and social media videos
Working as a freelancer for television networks and streaming platforms, I have covered a broad range of subject matters such as literature, social sciences, music theory, vocal coaching and education just to name a few.
This is what motivates me to do my best work
As far as the market is concerned, audiovisual translation does not seem to be regarded as a linguistic field requiring a high level of expertise, but for a committed and dedicated professional like me, the same quality standards apply as in any other translation field. I strive to provide the best service not only because of my work ethics but also because I love what I do.
