About Me

My core business is the translation of SOPs, associated quality documentation and pharmacovigilance reports as well as clinical trials documentation. I draw on more than 15 years of not just translation experience but working in the industries that I now translate for. I am certified with the ITI to translate into English, but being bilingual I obviously have a strong understanding of my source language, including regional and Swiss and Austrian dialects.

I work with extensive termbases and the major CAT tools: Wordfast, Memsource, MemoQ and I can handle TRADOS Xliff files.

This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge

Source language inconsistencies, idioms, regional dialects, and language variations pose translation challenges for anyone but linguists with native-level language skills. I am seeing growing levels of business in translations of audio transcripts from German into English with precisely those challenges and this is an area where I excel.
