I specialize in literary translation

I hold a double BA in English and Korean studies, as well as two Masters in Arts and Culture Management and English studies. I’ve also studied with the Editorial Freelancers Associations to learn about book editing and publishing.

I make sure to stay close to your voice and tone, to adapt my translation to the overall aesthetic and mood of your story, but also to create a unique voice to each of your characters. My goal is to make your craft shine in French !

I have worked on C.N. Crawford’s Court of Dreams to bring this final book in the Shadow Fae series to French Readers. CITY Editions have kindly trusted me with a second translation project, that is still in progress!

My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

Reading the book BEFORE engaging in any act of translation is a must. I want to feel what the reader is supposed to feel before engaging in any work. I then go through a first round of translation, just to get the words out, and then a second to make everything coherent, before going through a third round just to smooth everything out, and make sure to be precise and creative.
