About Me

I have a bachelor’s degree in English-French-Spanish translation granted by one of the top universities in Colombia. My skills as a translator are very diverse, with experience working as a legal translator for a law firm, as a programme and translation officer for a humanitarian NGO, and as a general freelance translator, my work has proven to be of high quality across different subjects. I am passionate about languages and writing, with 2 self-published poetry books and transcreation projects of literary works such as Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar into Spanish, my native tongue.

When facing terminological problems, I have colleagues both in translation and in technical and academic fields that I can consult in order to understand or find a previously unknown term. I believe that we as translators should be more collaborative with each other and build a community.
