I’m an English student, specializing in translation

My professional methodology for a standard translation project is

When translating something, I tend to be as loyal to the source text as possible. However, sometimes that is not possible, when that happens I try to be as loyal as possible to the original idea. I try not to change the text so much, only when is absolutely necessary.
