3 Reasons to hire ME
SEO Knowledge. Translating it’s not enough if you want to translate your website, articles, or blog. Hire a person that also knows about SEO and can help you to bring traffic to your website.
Quality literary translations. I’m also a writer and studied literary translation, I can use my skills to help you with your book in a way that sound natural.
Save money in the long-run. High-quality translations save money and make money!
As a writer in my native language, this is how I would describe my style
I tend to overanalyze the word I use, my friends say it’s too much but all my clients are very happy with the fact I’m very attentive to details. I concentrate on transmitting the message, not the words, literal translations won’t help at all. That’s why I’m constantly looking for the perfect words.
In literary translations, this means discussing with the author about their purpose and their goals with certain expressions. This is very important to me as I feel books are like their babies.
In marketing, this means not translating certain things. For example, the slogan for Nike is “just do it” they do not translate the slogan when marketing in Latin America. Although they have an official translation, they rather use the slogan in English so their bran is only associated with that phrase.
I feel translators are bridges between those who have the information and those who need said information. Kowing that by translating I can help both side motivates me to do my best work.
My professional methodology for a standard translation project is
-Receive the text and instructions. -Confirm instructions. -Check with the client if there’s any extra material that can help me with the translation (translation memories, similar texts already translated etc.) -Use Trados. -Check text with a text to voice app to see if it sounds natural. -Delive on time
