About Me

I am a technical translator who focused on electrical and mechanical engineering and the translation of technical documentation from the very beginning of my studies.

Before becoming a freelance translator, I worked for many years as a permanent translator for technology and as project manager.

I also have a certification as a terminology manager.

Before every translation project, I set myself the goal of making the translation better than the source text – at least a little bit. :-)

I like to deliver added value to my clients.

I refuse to work with clients who

insist on literal translations
try to negotiate a significant lower rate
would like to have as much text as possible translated free of charge
do not meet a translator at eye level
