As a poet and a writer myself, I know how to adapt the narrator’s tone and style to the needs of the source text. I have done so while working on such works as the Portuguese translation of Michiko Aoyama’s ‘お探し物は図書室まで’.
At The Stone and the Plot we have worked with André Pinto Teixeira several times now and saying we are sure we are going to work with him again in the future tells a lot about our opinion of him. He has translated Japanese films with great care and focus, always using his great background on Japanese culture to explain some of his choices. A complete and thorough work, always complying with deadlines - that’s what you get working with André.
