I have been working with a luxury watch brand for several years now. My mission is to transcreate and localise ad copies for social campaigns.

The double challenge is to keep the original meaning while sounding natural and elegant in French (consistent with the brand image), and to be creative enough to meet the strict character limits.

To achieve this goal, I suggest several alternatives to my client (sometimes focusing on a specific part of the message, depending on the length issue). This way, they can choose the translation that convey the best their message.

As a French copywriter and SEO web writer, I always do my best to meet my client’s needs and reach their target audience.

Although I am able to adapt my writing to the project specifications, I would say my style is professional without being too formal. I like talking directly to the reader, and being creative when it is possible (through the approach, the diversified wording…). Plus, I make sure that my content is clear, comprehensible and pleasant to read.

Anyway, I always ask the client what style they are looking before beginning the project. If necessary, I help them identify what could be better to reach their public.

It is important we respect each other as a professional and as a person. I am strongly motivated to overcome challenges and do my best for a client who respects me as well as I respect them.

Of course, it requires a good communication. Starting with the negotiations and a clear mission briefing, but also during the whole project. If we both are open to discussion and open-minded, the partnership will be successful.
