"Translation is in style"
It’s difficult to be an expert in all Marketing fields. Actually, I think nobody is. As a translator, I work most on content marketing translations (blogs, social media) and transcreation for several brands, including texts for e-commerce sites and advertising campaigns. Why did I take a Master’s degre in Digital Marketing and e-commerce? To learn more about it from the inside and understand better your needs. When do you want me to start?
I started my career in translation in the localization industry, and I haven’t stopped translating software and help files since then for many different verticals, such as:
ERP/CRM software
Fintech
Photo edition and printing software
Websites
Medical devices
Travel Booking apps
Marketing software I help clients embrace localization as a proactive approach, and not a reactive one.
Content I translate
Software files
I translate software files in many different formats, from Excel sheets to .po o .json files. I am used to shortening strings and coming up with translations that still make sense despite being short unless you want me to shorten it to three characters!
Help and documentation files
From User Manuals to Quick Start Guides or Knowledge Base articles, I translate all the documentation related to your products so that your users can start using them quickly and you can save time (and money) on customer support.
Marketing content
After assuming some marketing tasks myself, I took a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and E-commerce, which allowed me to understand how marketers work and how my translations can help their conversions. I translate blog posts, social media content, corporate videos, presentations and any marketing collateral you can think about. My work in the marketing field is more related to IT, tourism, sports nutrition, sports apparel and fashion.
Why I am your best option for localization into Spanish (EU)
1. I know what I translate about. And if I don’t, I do research. I don’t leave things untranslated because “a translation doesn’t exist”. 2. I am used to continuous localization projects. I work with clients that require small translations almost on a daily basis. 3. I have long experience in Project Management. I can build up a team of Spanish translators for big projects and be in charge of project management and final QA.
I can truly highly recommend Alicia. In the time that we’ve been working together she has been irreplaceable! She is a Great professional and provides excellent Spanish translations for our international branded sports client and language services within the translation team! Since day one, her work ethic is impeccable and she had flawless language skills! Alicia always delivers on time and goes above and beyond to help meet all deadlines and help with quick turnarounds! So glad our paths have crossed and I look forward to working together for a long time!
When working with translators the main things I look for are: speed, accuracy and communication. In my role I manage a team of translators covering France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Holland and Spain. The latter is handled by Alicia.
Why I love working with Alicia so much is that she provides all of the things I look for in a translator - and more. I never feel that I have to chase her up or that the information I’m getting is incorrect. She goes a step further than ‘just’ translating and is naturally inquisitive meaning we get a truly localized and accurate experience, which is essential for the success of our brand.
We cannot recommend Alicia highly enough as a translator.
