Project management skills

I started out my career as assistant project manager, and learned the ropes of SDL Trados, how a translation agency works from the inside, how to review a project, and communicate with clients.

Subtitles

In 2017 I started my collaboration with Ola Englund of Solar Guitars, a famous YouTuber in the heavy metal and guitar community, with whom I still collaborate to this day.

This is how I solved a recent terminology, style, or linguistic challenge

Road 96: Mile 0 - Workers

This term was a problem in the game, because the more direct way to translate it would be “lavoratore” or “operaio”, which have both feminine and masculine variants. In order to avoid any problems of gender in the dialogues and everything else, I found the solution “tuta/e blu”, which is gender neutral and fits visually with the charactes (all workers in the game wear a blue suit).
