What I do
I make a living from English to Hungarian translation work and I am continuously trying to make a positive impact through research & writing.
My studies
I am qualified in linguistics at PhD level and I have a deep interest in anthropology and the arts. I focus my research as well as my academic and popular publications on the subjects and social issues I feel most drawn to – arts, education, human rights & environmental protection.
I graduated in Philology, with a focus on Tibetan and Mongolian studies, from Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary. These courses provided me not only with an exceptionally good practical training in the translation of non-European languages, but I learnt to appreciate the differences that lay within seemingly curious cultures, traditions and customs of the world and, of course, I could experience the beauty of languages.
Expertise & Interests
arts & crafts – jewellery, Buddhist statuary, West African art education – development through traditional arts human rights – equality and diversity environmental protection – through education religions – with a focus on Buddhism Africa – I think that Tippi Degré had a wonderful childhood
Who I really am
I am passionate about raising awareness of issues related to education, environmental protection and human rights. I believe that we can create positive changes, if not in the wider world, then within our own communities and within our own lives.

I have been lucky enough to work and volunteer for international organizations in various roles, in Mongolia, the UK and Hungary, and I am looking forward to working with you too if you are involved in the mentioned fields and require my services.
