Based in Alexandria, Egypt, I’m an Arabic Linguist with 19 years’ experience translating, localizing and reviewing content for the financial, legal, medical, education, software localization and marketing sectors.

I’ve translated and reviewed Arabic and English legal cases, official documents (e.g. birth certificates, passports, national IDs), static and dynamic company websites, a book on organizational happiness, PC and mobile apps, online-streaming movies and series, marketing videos, etc..

I’ve spent the last 11 years supporting the growth and success of top LSPs like Welocalize, TripleInk (Martin|Williams Advertising) RWS Life Sciences, International Contact and others through quality Arabic translations, meticulous reviews and evidence-based linguistic quality assurance, LQAs.

I am recognized by the Arab Professional Translators Society as a Certified Professional Translator, and was awarded “Translator of the Month” by the same body in December 2003. My Arabic translation of Lars Kure Juul’s Amazon #1 International Bestseller, “Organizational Happiness,” was featured on Feb 26, 2020 as a “Hot New Release” and #5 as a bestseller on Amazon!

In addition to a B.Ed. (Hons) degree in Education and English Language, I have obtained multiple professional certifications in IT: Sun (Oracle) Certified Programmer, (Microsoft Certified Educator, Microsoft Technology Associate, Security Fundamentals). I finished a basic programming course offered by Udacity on Apple’s Swift and Xcode in March 2020.
