I have also been reviewing translated legal cases for terminology and legal drafting issues. Translated into Arabic the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and translated/reviewed entire entries from Black’s Law Dictionary.
Based in Alexandria, Egypt, I’m an Arabic Linguist with 19 years’ experience translating, localizing and reviewing content for the financial, legal, medical, education, software localization and marketing sectors.

In addition to a B.Ed. (Hons) degree in Education and English Language, I have obtained multiple professional certifications in IT: Sun (Oracle) Certified Programmer, (Microsoft Certified Educator, Microsoft Technology Associate, Security Fundamentals). I finished a basic programming course offered by Udacity on Apple’s Swift and Xcode in March 2020.

From Nov 2019 to Nov 2020, I was chosen by a major international LSP to review, fix design issues and produce LQA scorecards for Arabic subtitles of monthly Netflix movie and series releases.
