Non-Vital Emails
What are non-vital emails
Non-vital emails are commercial in nature and are not part of the core Zingword platform. For information about privacy and security, check out How we use your data.
Advertisements and promotions are considered non-vital, as are monthly newsletters and stuff like that.
However, Zingword does consider vital those emails related to maintaining, updating, enhancing, creating, or changing your account, because promoting and maintaining professionalism throughout Zingword is a core mission.
Also considered vital are those messages encouraging you to share or grow the community, because growth of our quality community is imperative for the service we are providing to you and everyone who uses the platform.
We also consider vital things we decide that you should know, certain relevant updates, and any other message that pertains to the service.
Therefore, we reserve the right to send messages or notifications like these:
- Ask translators to share Zingword with other professional translators you know
- Ask translation buyers to share Zingword with other translation buyers
- Offer advice to translators who want to improve their Zingword presence
- Give translators ideas on how to share your profile online in a way that makes you look cool
- Ask translators to collect a new reference to enhance the professionalism of their profiles
- Remind translators of pending activities in their Zingword account
- Notify buyers of interesting translation activity on the platform
- Notify translators of interesting buyer activity on the platform
These are considered vital to the service, because Zingword has an expansive, holistic view of what type of content is part and parcel with the Site Services.
That being said, we’re looking out for translators and buyers alike, so we’re careful about what kinds of messages we send.
If you have a problem with any of this, please withdraw your consent at any time by navigating to My personal data.
