Your subtitling expert
Hi there! If you’re a Latin American film director, or a US film director looking to shoot their shot at Spanish-speaking film festivals, you’ve come to the right profile.
I’m Noah, a subtitling expert from Chile. I have a strong passion for quality cinema and expanding my clients viewership. Films I’ve worked on have been featured at various international festivals, such as:
- The Mayweather Festival of Cinematic Arts
- Zagreb Film Festival
- Santiago International Film Festival
- Toronto International Film Festival
I have also been a part of several filmmaking crews during my years in college, which has made me keenly aware of your side of the story. If you need a passionate translator to complement your passion for film, you’ve found him!
Your traveling translator
I have enjoyed over 50 different tourist spots across Latin America and am a keen traveller, which only makes me want to spread the message of the delights of Latin American tourism even more!
My tourist translations have helped various places get noticed by foreign tourist and allowed them to understand the value in our various cultures.
You can take a closer look at my style by viewing some of the translations I’ve had the privilege of working on previously on my website:
Your mutilingual friend
I’m always up for a good chat, would love to hear about your projects, and would be honored to help your voice reach an international audience!
You can contact me via the Zingword chat at any time between 8 AM and 9 PM, or, for a more in-depth talk, schedule a video chat with me!
I’m right here when you need me!
This is how I solved a recent communication challenge with a client
I advocate transparency in my work, so I recently gave a client I was doing subtitling for some insight into the relationships between reading speed, content and length in subtitling, which helped de-escalate a discussion that could have turned into a conflict. In turn, they offered some insight into the kind of messaging they’d like to portray in their work.
This way, it simply turned into a mutually beneficial collaboration.
In my opinion, sharing knowledge with clients is crucial for a successful collaboration with a freelance translator.
